Checking
the box in this option allows you to have the K-Lite v2.7 show when you start K-Lite.
Removing the check from the box opens K-Lite without the splash screen.
Activate Traffic View on StartupSelecting
this option forces K-Lite to open the Traffic view instead of the Web view when
you first start the program. This option is useful if you have downloads
running from a previous session and you want the accelerator to start working on
them instantly.

Color Tray Icon
This
option is specifically for users who don’t have all the colors they need to
display the K-Lite icon in tray icon. It may appear better for some, while for
others it may look horrible. It’s up to you to enable or disable this option.

You can find more appearance options in K-Lite’s main menu (View > Options).
Tools
Add
This is
where you add tools to your K-Lite toolbar.
Remove
Select a
tool you’ve added to your toolbar and click on remove to remove it from the
toolbar.
Edit
Select a
tool you’ve added to your toolbar and click on edit to edit it's Title, Command
Line, Parameters, Icon File, whether you want it to start or close with K-Lite
or if you want to use it to Preview files you’re downloading.
Adding, Editing Options
Title –
this is where you want to put the name of the program you’re adding to your
toolbar.
Command
Line – this is where you want to put the location of the file that you want to
open when you chose it from your toolbar. Click on the residing “…” to browse
for the file.
Parameters –
Icon File
– you can use this option to change the icon that appears in the K-Lite toolbar.
Click on the residing “…” to browse for the icon file.
Start
with Kazaa (Autostart) – select this option to open one of the programs in your
toolbar when you open K-Lite.
Close
with Kazaa (Autoclose) – select this option to close one of the programs in your
toolbar when you close K-Lite.
Preview
with – select this option to add a program to preview partially downloaded files
by selecting it in the right click menu under “Preview With” in the traffic
view.
Startpage
Use
Custom Startpage
Select
this option to display the page that is displayed in the web view when you start
K-Lite.
URL
Enter the
webpage you want to be displayed in the web view, when K-Lite starts, here.
Accelerator

this option the run the accelerator.
Seconds Between Cycles
Enter how
many seconds you want the accelerator to start from the beginning of your
downloads.
Seconds Between Items
Enter how
many seconds you want the accelerator to act on an item in your download list.
Skip
Items in ‘Paused’, ‘Queued’ Status
Skips the
items that are paused or queued.
Skip
Items If Download Speed is above ‘x’ KB/s
Select
this option to have the accelerator skip items that are above ‘x’ KB/s where ‘x’
is the number of KB/s you chose. Be sure to enter it in the box.
Only
Scan the First ‘x’ Items
Select
this option to have the accelerator scan only the first ‘x’ items in your
download list, where ‘x’ is the number of downloads that you want to be skipped.
Be sure to enter the number in the provided box.
If An
Item is in Searching Status for ‘x’ Cycles, Try to Pause and Resume It
This
option pauses a download that’s been in the ‘searching’ status for an ‘x’ amount
of cycles and then the accelerator resumes it to see if the download can start
back up again. Be sure to enter how many cycles (x) you want the accelerator to
run before pausing and resuming the download.
Clear
Downloaded and Erroneous Each Cycle
This
option clears all downloaded or erroneous files from the traffic view
automatically each cycle in the downloads window.

This
option clears all uploaded or erroneous files from the traffic view
automatically each cycle in the uploads window.
